Featured Review

Current Employee - Financial Analyst

I have been working at XL Dynamics full-time

Pros

In this uncertain times of covid pandemic across the world, the organisation immediately switched to the concept of work from home with all the support required. I have been working from home from... March. For me,this has been a blessing as it didn't impact me financially as I am the sole earner as of now for my family.

Cons

No one is allowed to talk to each other on work floor. If caught talking, security guard will note down your name and employee code.

Advice to Management

Need patience.

Former Employee - Multiple Positions

I worked at Digital Air Strike full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Friendly atmosphere, good benefits, free lunches, and charity work. If you are on the Dev team; or in Dave or Lori's departments you are usually salaried and make good money while advancing quickly.... Whether you are a member of the sales team or CA team(account managers) if you're hitting your goals they will often take you on trips + pay for your expenses and earn nice bonuses. If you're one of their top money makers you will likely be invited to the yearly presidents club trip. Which is an all inclusive weekend retreat mainly consisting of the upper management, sales, and CA team.

Cons

Some people will definitely backstab you or blame shift to save their own butts especially CAs. If you are under Erica or Krys on the operations side your pay will be very low (fast food pay rates)... when starting out and it's hard to get promoted. They do their best to try and keep the team happy with free food. Many employees are fresh out of college and don't have the experience to demand more money even though they probably deserve it. Most of the employees in these departments are hourly so the only chance to make more money is overtime. Often management under Erica and Krys will throw more work at you with no incentives to take on these tasks like a bonus or time off. You get a pat on the back, OT(if approved), or reason to potentially ask for a promotion upon the quarterly reviews.

Advice to Management

Even out the gap in pay between departments under Erica and Dave. There was kind of an aura of if you're on this side you're are overworked and underpaid. If you're on the other side you can get away... with messing around on your phone, watching sports on the clock, or goofing off (mini golf and ping pong) if you're hitting your goals. It's also very hard to switch over departments that's why the headline is watch which department you join. If you join Erica's side good luck switching to Dave's. Sadly, I think I saw it maybe once in my multiple year tenure. Lots of denied or ignored requests to do so; especially DS' wanting to become CAs. Krys is caring and does his best boost morale for his team. Unfortunately, his department's budgets is not very big in comparison to other departments. You often read in responses to criticism of pay that they claim to have competitive pay rates. This just tells me some departments are both over and under paid to average out their overall numbers.
