What is health insurance like at Anglian Water?
Pros
Benefits were good like healthcare
Cons
Management took no care for staff, and there was a complete lack of respect for anyone that wasn't management. Everybody was scared of management because they have a tendency to ignore people's mental health issues, there was no rewards and an ignorance to achievement. They also didn't stick to laws and I was shocked when I saw these things. Would not recommend this company with its fake values.

Does Anglian Water have a pension plan?
Pros
Great Flexibility, fantastic attitude to mental health, good pay and good job benefits. One of a few companies offering to match a 5% pension contribution
Cons
Can be stressful at times, and sometimes change isn't managed particularly well. Having said that, I don't think change is generally managed well anywhere.
Advice to Management
Thanks for treating us like humans. My senior manager is very approachable and CEO acts just like a normal employee.

How are the career development opportunities at Anglian Water?
Pros
Fantastic working atmosphere, great opportunities for career and personal growth. The company actively pursues a working environment where everyone cares not only about the work we do and the customers we help but about what matters to its employees. Anglian water makes an effort to help its workforce talk openly about mental health, gender pay gaps and environmental awareness. They actively encourage employees to involve themselves in charity activities and personal growth programs. Its clear that upper level management genuinely care about the wellbeing of their workers and takes steps to make work life as enjoyable as possible.
Cons
Most employees stay at Anglian water for over 20 years which, whilst being a shining endorsement for the company, means that in certain areas innovative ideas can be met with reluctance from the people who have been doing their work the same way for such a long time. Many projects require an aspect of behavioural change to be successful across the wider business.
Advice to Management
Open up health and wellbeing training to the wider business - allowing more people to be trained in how to help others with problems such as mental health means employees are more likely to be able to find something they're willing to talk to when they need it.
