What is health insurance like at Aon?

Pros

Good benefits including affordable health insurance, an ESPP, nice 401K match and generous PTO time.

Cons

2019 has been the year of low/no raises, revocation of work from home opportunities, and the beginning of an ongoing process of training our offshore colleagues in India how to perform parts of our workload. Add in Skype monitoring (are you yellow for more than a few minutes - management may call you in for a chat) and management admonitions on the proper time of day to take an exercise walk, and the overall result was the resignation of 4 system analysts in the span of July – Sept 2019. There should be many new openings available to replace them, and hopefully management has learned the limits of how far it should micromanage...

What is the retirement plan like at Aon?

Pros

Great training program, competitive pay, decent management, good benefits and 401k match

Poor work life balance, lot of office politics, uninteresting work, lack of power and control over decision making, micromanagement

Does Aon offer parental leave?

Pros

-Flexible work schedule -8 Weeks of Parental Leave -They work hard to make sure you have a work life balance -Free entrance to many museums

Cons

-Dated office, technology, and computer programs -Lower than average wages compared to competitors -Limited PTO -The office has the vibe that they are doing the bare minimum to keep you there -Only one monitor allowed in our department
