Pros

- Big team vibes even with being remote - Management is working on improving planning to give employees a better idea of the long-term work needed. - Easy to talk to upper management - Large interesting projects on a new platform - Encouraged to hit the ground running and to own projects - Compensation is on par if not above for new hires - 401K Matching, after 6 mos - IT jobs are remote after covid shift

Cons

- Experience sometimes depends on the team you are on - Benefits are ok but seem sub-par when compared to other IT jobs, for example, the standard PTO package (8 bank holidays and increasing days off for time at the company) when most places are offering versions of unlimited PTO for IT workers now. - Remote workers are helping with the diversity issue! However, there is great room for improvement in this areana

Advice to Management

- Could use guidance on role-specific training outside their online company training videos - Look at what other companies are offering IT workers for benefits and comp, try to match if not exceed.

Pros

The work is satisfying. Most of the people there are great.

Cons

The veteran employees, including managers are bringing the scene down. They are complacent and stagnant. They have no passion. The newer employees would love to drive change, but pushback from those stuck in their ways is hard to overcome. There is no reward for good work. Two years and only one small raise that not everybody received. Barely a cost of living increase. So many of us had vacation time cut by new policies. And taking time off is not easily done. We all went to WFH and had costs because of it. In the office we had two computer screens given to us. We were expected to do the same work on one small laptop screen. We have all adapted and overcome, you could even say excelled; but no reward from management.

Advice to Management

If you want employees to stay and work better for you, show them a little appreciation. Let those who are doing exceptional know that you see them. If you want team players, be on their team too!

So many of us had vacation time cut by new policies.
