What is the company culture like at Babylon Health?

Pros

Working with really interesting, clever people for a healthcare company that is probably not evil. As a developer, I get a lot of freedom in how I work and what I work on. My immediate manager and lead are very friendly and supportive.

Cons

Higher management frequently impose new decisions or structures across the company, without any transparency or clarity. These decisions often arrive without warning, are unrecorded and any avenues to discuss them are shut down. There's a toxic culture of politics and back-stabbing at higher levels, such as fighting over C-level positions, or control over various tribes/departments.

Advice to Management

Make decisions more transparent. A few suggestions: - Allow tribe leads and directors to hear about and give feedback prior to large-scale decisions being made - Public, recorded Q&As on such decisions - Much less tolerance of weird power struggles within the company
