Does Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina have an on site gym?

Pros

Work/life balance is very good, flexible work from home policy, accessible management, 401k/health insurance benefits are good, nice gym & cafeteria on campus, charitable opportunities within the company

Cons

Working in a shared work environment is not for everyone. If you're working in a dept that is assigned to the shared spaces, you won't have an assigned seat and may not get to sit at the same desk everyday, you have zero privacy, and people talking and walking all around you can be distracting at times.

How do employees feel about working conditions at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina?

Pros

Good employees, some decent perks, on campus cafeteria and gym is nice (but gym is not accessible to contractors. Might want to change that considering you are employing a lot of contractors).

Cons

Chaos, chaotic. Five different content management systems means five hundred different ways to screw something up. Other teams are pushy.

Advice to Management

If you are going full Agile, then please teach your PLMS, PMs, and managers how Agile actually works. Your employees are going to get it wrong, are getting it wrong, and others will suffer for it. They ARE getting it wrong right now.
