Does Bombardier offer massages?

Pros

[Bombardier Biggin Hill site, MRO aviation] Apart for the name brand of the company, nothing is good about them. Engineering and blue-collar staff are "looked down" upon by office. Bad location, staff are constantly monitored for their use of time. Productivity under 90% of daily working hours are reprimanded. Once clocked in, you are expected to run to the aircraft and start working. If you spend more than 30 minutes idle, managers will be looking for you. No free coffee and tea during tea breaks, this should be commonplace in aviation MRO companies. They rip you off with overpriced vending machine food, knowing that it will not be enough time for you to drive out for lunch. Loads of people leave after their first week of joining. Emailing HR won't get you anything, you have to chase after HR staff to get the forms that you want. Terrible public transport links, staff have to walk 30 minutes (each way) to work from the nearest bus stop, preceded by a 45 minute bus ride to the nearest train station - and buses go missing frequently. Company won't do anything about it though they have enough staff walking to work, and enough revenue booked in for the next few years to hire a company shuttlebus for it.

Cons

HR cancelled private medical plan 2 weeks into my employment, though it was my benefit entitlement and I was there for more than 8 months -- I only discovered after I quit. HR will lowball your salary offers, though there are other aviation companies at the airport offering higher pay and work life balance. Progession is slow. They didn't issue enough warm uniform. Gave me only 3 T-shirts to last 5 days of work. I am glad to have left this hell hole.

Advice to Management

HR and company culture needs improvement.
