Does Brandt Group of Companies offer unlimited holiday?

Pros

The only pro is getting to work alongside brands like John Deere.

Cons

Unless you share the same last name as the CEO or are in his inner circle don't expect to move up at this company. The nepotism is strong here, but I guess that is expected of a family-run business. They are so far behind in technology, compensation and benefits it's shocking since they are a billion dollar company. They refuse to have an adequate payroll system and still email pay stubs and make you track your own vacation time. The benefits are laughable - especially compared to other Alberta-based companies. They love to underpay people as well. Their HR team is practically unreachable, you'll go months without an answer to a simple question unless it's escalated to your manager and even then it's painfully slow. The old-school mentality is tiring. It's always "well this is the way we've always done things" and very few people at this company want to change that. Overall, I do not recommend unless you want to go back in time to old-school practices.

Advice to Management

Join the 21st century and improve your payroll, benefits, compensation and overall corporate culture. You've lost so many talented people with your mishandle of the Cervus acquisition and failure to be forward-thinking. Stop creating jobs out of nothing. There are too much micromanagement and people with unnecessary job functions.

Does Brandt Group of Companies have a pension plan?

Pros

I can not think of any pros at this stage of the game.

Cons

Corporation mentality, they expect 10% growth per year which is often unobtainable. Benefits are not stellar, pension sucks. No communication between staff & upper management. They do not pay as well as other locations.

Advice to Management

Treat your service employees better, consider the difference between heavy duty operations and an agricultural applications when determining shop rate. Increase wages to match the rising inflation.

Benefits are not stellar, pension sucks.
