Laid-back. You will never be stressed at this job, unless you have never worked a job before or are highly technically illiterate. Staff and students are kind and nice to work with.

Cons

The curriculum is the bare-minimum compared to how much the families pay for the services. There are no real individualized learning plans. Training is almost non-existent. No real pedagogy. The curriculum team doesn't seem to do much more than make copies of spreadsheets and Google Docs. All management and admins are great, but are not educators.

Pros

As a teacher at previous institutions, this school really takes care of its teachers. I feel really supported by the Admin and Admin Assistant. When I make mistakes I am always taught how to do it correctly, versus being chastised or made to feel inferior. I also love working with a variety of students anywhere from extremely gifted to really struggling. The pay is great for a part-time job!
