How are senior leaders perceived at Centene?

Pros

- Switched to WFH quickly when the pandemic started - Salary is great

Cons

- No diversity in executive leadership - Racism in the commercial segment - Collaboration is difficult with internal partners - Corporate has a very stiff mentality (i.e. business professional dress [no jeans or sneakers ever], no carry over of vacation time even during the pandemic when people were not able to take a proper vacation, no flexibility to WFH until pandemic started)

Advice to Management

You are losing out on top talent by not having a more lax mentality on simple things. Let employees that work at the corporate office wear jeans and sneakers on Fridays, allow for WFH a couple days a week, and show more diversity in your executive leadership. The extracurricular "diversity" groups are far from diverse and are not promoted within the organization across the board. I was here almost a year before I found out about them. It's the little things that make a happy employee and attract and retain top talent.

No diversity in executive leadership
