Great support from corporate office to the homes. Great staff, loads of opportunities for advancement with internal promotions. Always looking at ways to make things better for the front line teams

What is the feeling of job security at Chartwell Retirement Residences?
Pros
Residents, scheduling, other staff, facilities are clean
Cons
Poor pay, poor management, huge turn over rate for staff, little to no appreciation from management, no availability to obtain full time as a nurse! They would rather hire 50 part times and no full time so they don’t have to pay benefits etc.

How are senior leaders perceived at Chartwell Retirement Residences?
Pros
Reliable schedule and consistent routine. Appreciation and good will from residents.
Cons
Incompetent management, no responsibility from higher ups, poor pay, often forced to complete extra work and manage your own department with no compensation. Looked down upon by other departments. Dead end job.
Advice to Management
Higher people with proper qualifications to manage a team and deal with conflict as it appears. Reward staff for above and beyond service. Work to maintain a friendly work environment for all employees. Be competitive with wages and benefits.
