Where to begin. To sum it up, everything. They get jobs they know they can't complete in the time they bid them for. They're behind before they even start so you're always trying to catch up. The worst micromanaging I've ever encountered in my life. They pride themselves on ethics, yet some people can do anything and not even get a slap on the wrist. They require you to work a 45 hour week and only get paid for 40, ever week. This is the most unorganized place I've ever worked. Readers: I know many don't take these reviews too serious because people who dislike a place will always bash it. Please take my word for it, every department at this place is 100% screwed up. When VP's and Directors leave after being there for a few months, that should tell you something.

You'll never fix the problems you have because you're blind and think everything is going good. Fire everyone, I clouding yourselves and start over with a new owner.

1. Very structured and root cause/corrective action focuses in order to research, analyze, and solve problems. 2. Cobham’s status as a great employer is represented by the employees who have been there 30,40,50 years, and still working! It is not uncommon. 3. Since the company is so fixed on problem solving and delivering on its word to customers, they approach their employees the same way. They offer a good benefits program, including 401K match, tuition reimbursement, and a great cafeteria for breakfast and lunch! They have a good understanding of work/life balance, I can work from home if needed. I love my boss, but she is tough. You have to be.

I don’t think there are cons, but rather be prepared to handle stress like a pro and prepare to function at a high level, proficient with excel, MRP, ERP, other systems if you are in OPS.

Typical corporate environment, over-saturation of management, not much room for growth, not much promotion of culture/ values

Take better care of your long time employees instead of forcing them to look for opportunities elsewhere.

Company does not treat it's employees well and good people are not recognised.

Lower pay than a typical engineer, no central management or policies specific to you as an employee, no career planning or guidance, luck-based positions, limited opportunities internal when completing program, taxed on all benefits without knowledge of the total amount or tax percentage that will be owed, YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO NOT SIGN HOUSING CONTRACT - AND DO NOT SIGN IT.
