What is health insurance like at Dedicated Nursing Associates?

Pros

Flexibility in scheduling, great pay, awesome recruiters, people who are passionate about their jobs, 401(k) with matching contribution

Cons

Don't offer real health insurance, don't pay for housing for long-distance contracts

Advice to Management

I think it's a great company to work for. But it would be nice to cover housing for long-distance contracts, maybe education assistance, even if it's just a discount. But I'm happy with the company.

Does Dedicated Nursing Associates offer disability insurance?

Pros

- Company gym - Golf outings & company happy hours - Nice co-workers are present at entry-level positions in the company (tend to leave after they realize they are better than DNA, rightfully so)

Cons

-Toxic work environment: made to feel incompetent at all levels & you are used until you are burnt out; favoritism runs rampant; shady busy tactics & discussions; no regard for people as humans & not just pawns for money; harassment from execs & nothing gets done because they run HR. -Chaotic policy & procedure updates: While stating that they are growing and may still be a relatively new company, they are constantly changing policies and procedures. While they will state that their employees need to be "more adaptable" when complaints are received, they do not take into consideration turnaround times, long term issues that may occur, ideas from the people actually doing the work. Meanwhile, the executives that create and run with these policy changes end up making themselves look incompetent and hypocritical. -Very little inclusion & diversity: If you fall into this category you are most certainly made to feel inadequate and uncomfortable. When this occurs, in a normal corporate environment you would be able to fall back onto HR. Not at Dna, harassment and racist remarks from executives are thrown under the rug. -Poor pay: does not meet average salaries across nation. Willing to change pay grades/compensation in a matter of minutes on recruiters monthly--taking away from their livelyhoods and ability to afford basic living costs. -Growth opportunities: These are either false jobs (where they will offer you a title/growth path & bait you along for extra work but then never actually give it to you due to not meeting their ever-changing expectencies) or they are titles given so that if something big is coming (i.e. Joint Commission Audits, Subpoenas for information, etc) the executives have a person to blame so that they don't look bad to the CEO when the company fails. -Poor mentality towards their healthcare staff: As a company that works with travel nurses and nurse aides, they are disgustingly derogatory towards them even though they are the ones bringing in the money. They view them as pawns and not as humans. They do not help with housing costs, do not reimburse for the insane credentialing process (that most facilities do not even require), do not provide realistic benefits to the staff. They are given marketing ploy items (i.e: "Jeep contest", "DNA Swag") instead of long-term, sustainable benefits and assistance that DNA can clearly afford.

Advice to Management

Dissolve the company and move on. At this point, there is no correcting what has gone wrong within the corporate offices and with the business as whole.

term, sustainable benefits and assistance that DNA can clearly afford.
