How are senior leaders perceived at Emso?

Pros

Have a Deliveroo allowance daily, very little expectations on people, do promote charity

Cons

No progression offered, management don’t really want to improve the firm and are all out to cover themselves, too many ‘yes men’ at the top, lack of desire to be the best in class, if you work outside the investment team you are of no concern to senior management. Pay a low base and do not deliver on a high bonus, they previously did compensate low base.

Advice to Management

Freshen up the management team, new faces in from top tier firms, hire research specialist who actually know the market.
