Does GE Healthcare offer dental insurance?

Pros

A company that you can easily apply skills and learn a whole lot more. Benefits are good (life insurance, medical cover for employee and immediate family, i.e spouse and kids), company car(for field-based roles), etc

Cons

1. Management in Africa is wanting. Leadership is concentrated in one region and there is a huge culture problem that everyone talks about but nothing concrete comes up in trying to solve the problem. 2. Also, training needs aren't often met, and this can be a big problem ('de-motivator') to employees. 3. Company currently very unstable. I've seen people recruited and retrenched 6 months later because their roles became 'redundant '. A lot of roles being merged, and the 'dominating region' is of course, the least affected. 4. Also seen how slow the company is in following and acting on such things as ombuds issues, etc. But again, it also depends on who you are in company. Like in the Animal Farm, 'some animals are more equal than others.'

Advice to Management

Consider equitable distribution of leadership roles. We all know that the leadership is focused on concentrating senior roles in one region that controls everyone else.
