What are some insights into the strategy or vision at GE Power?

Pros

Very good working conditions: flexibility, remote office possibility, good salary, holidays, etc. Also interesting technologies and products.

Cons

Leadership is not at the level of what this company deserves. Chaotic, with unclear plan & vision, only looking on short-term and share price. No long term strategy available. Difficult to promote or get an interesting position if not located in teh US.

Advice to Management

Get advice from normal employees, sometimes they can give you the clues of what's happening before it's too late. Look on long term strategy. Stop with non-specific talks and provide real specific plans. Promote people who has really worked, not only people with leadership programs who have not really worked in their professional career and who doesn't really know what is the business about, they only know about politics and showing off. Look outside of US.

No long term strategy available.
