What is health insurance like at GMMI, Inc.?
Pros
health insurance is free for employee, birthday holiday, free parking, 401K match (benefits package overall decent)
Cons
Obsessed with short-staffing, management does not seem to be concerned with employee well-being and always looking at the bottom line. Management does not understand the difficulties of case management and thinks they can pay the same as a fast food restaurant to get good staff. No AC after 6 p.m. or on weekends with the reasoning that all the staff should be able to fit in the small glass room with AC, which is unreasonable. HR does not communicate well and is rude. No bonuses; raises only cover inflation. Very disorganized throughout with lack of communication among HR, management and the staff; chaotic. Leadership is poor.

How are senior leaders perceived at GMMI, Inc.?
Pros
Benefits are ok and my co-workers were very supportive and helpful. In this place you count on your coworkers a lot since the upper management is of no use.
Cons
Poor upper management and leadership all around. Poor selection of leaders. Some with very poor people skills who think it is ok to put employees down. Overall, a terrible experience working there and an extremely unprofessional environment. I would not recommend this place to anyone if it was the last place to work on earth.
Advice to Management
Select your leaders very carefully
Poor selection of leaders.

How are the career development opportunities at GMMI, Inc.?
Pros
Benefits are pretty decent in terms of paid healthcare, holidays and PTO. Many of the coworkers are generally good and fun people
Cons
This is a decent place to work if it’s your first office job or for someone who recently finished school. However if you’re looking for a career, this isn’t the place for you as there is very little room for advancement. Senior managers are completely disconnected from the rest of the staff, with little to no interaction. The politics are even worse and create a toxic work environment for pretty much everyone. The company rides on the fact that they provide good benefits and makes no other effort to actually make their employees happy. God forbid they are bothered to spend money on the staff instead of treating themselves to company lunches every other week
Advice to Management
Any successful company in today’s world will tell you that if you don’t invest in your employees you will get nowhere. If you’re not willing to change your ways, reward people who work hard and remove those who are toxic you will fail as a business. Clients are important, but you are nothing without your employees
However if you’re looking for a career, this isn’t the place for you as there is very little room for advancement.
