Does General Atomics offer massages?
Pros
Great work/life balance, staffed well, friendly co-workers, 401k with match up to 8% (4% added over that by employer), and a pension on top of it. Benefits like free company gyms all over San Diego, good cafeterias, and even a GA pool near Torrey Pines.
Cons
Because of the work/life benefits, pension, etc people rarely leave. That results in few places to advance in some departments like project management and engineering, due to the number of employees competing.
Advice to Management
Revisit becoming more work from home or hybrid friendly, in non-manufacturing roles for PMs and PEs

Pros
Medical dental benefits options, 401, pension, vacation accrual improves with years of service at a good rate.
Cons
Get your salary set coming in the door, the raises are meager at best, never come anywhere near inflation, Difficult to advance out of Integration if you do your job well, make it difficult to advance, departmentally trapped. Easier to move around/advance from other departments. Bad management and low pay drives a large turnover of employees in Integration. Difficult to keep skilled/talented people. Low to no morale.
Advice to Management
Pay the market value to be able to hire skilled/talented people, stop micromanaging and being condescending. Be truthful.

Does General Atomics have a pension plan?
Pros
GA does a lot of things right. Good pay, good benefits, 9/80 schedule, pension plan, work was good while it lasted.
Cons
GA is very top heavy with managers and program people, things don't get done fast enough to progress.
Advice to Management
LEAN up! there's way too many people doing nothing and getting paid a lot. There's always fears of layoffs because of how slow it is, some transparency and communication on the state of the company would be better than a vague email or filtered town hall questions.
