Advice to Management

Find a better way of communicating with staff when they are being laid off. I literally found out I was no longer employed at Google after 2 hours at my desk, then I logged off to go into the kitchen to get some snacks and I come back to log in and access to my computer had been denied.

The leaders and my peers constantly challenge me to grow in more ways than I can imagine. There are different programs for mentorship, which helped me discover my career path. I feel supported here, and the kindness of my team is genuine, and I feel like everyone wants to help each other.

Cons

It's a big tech company, so it takes more time to make an impact vs. a tech start-up. There are politics and nuances to getting promoted, but that's a given with any big corporation.
