How are senior leaders perceived at HOBAN?

Pros

The new members of the team are really helping in building a good team culture. Some of them are really lovely, genuine people.

Cons

CEO and management staff have worked there for more than 15 years as such they are stuck in their ways. The recruitment world, the corporate world and culture at work has changed everywhere around them except for that organisation. They use old school methods, do not want to inovate and are stuck in their ways of doing things in the 90s. Management having been there for a lot of years are not welcoming to new people and stick to themselves, they are judgemental to new team members, gossip among themselves and bring new staff members down. Those older employees get to work from home flexibility, do not come to work for weeks on end while the rest of the team needs to pick up slack and workd extra hours to cover for their work. Unsuportive culture, managers have no training whatsoever in leadership, building team morale and supporting their staff. A business that does not care about their staff, do not promote racial diversity and do not support new staff members with disabilities. They do not care about the well being of their staff and often over work the staff members, turning a blind eye when someone says they are struggling with the work load. If you complain about your work load, they increase it as a punishment and management ignores you pretending to be too busy.

Advice to Management

You need a revamp from within, get rid of you dated CEO and managers. Hire modern leaders with real vision, who are not scared of technology and who have worked for leading companies. Create a good working culture where respect is given to your hard working staff. Reward your hard working staff with incentives. You have great staff so give them the leaders and managers they deserve, your company will only grow from that.
