Does there seem to be diversity at Hilton?

Pros

Emphasis on diversity and inclusion, decent perks in terms of health insurance and PTO, good employee discount rates, most holidays off, good reputation as a company.

Cons

They're getting better but don't offer big rewards for tenure like other companies. Right now budgets are tight due to the pandemic. Diversity tends to fade out at director level and above.

Advice to Management

Rethink the requirement to work in a shared office space for 8 hours a day. Remote work during the pandemic proves we can be productive with flexible schedules and locations.

Do personal relationships impact the work environment at [company]?

Pros

Great Benefits, Hotel Discounts, weekly hotel presentations.

Cons

LOTS of nepotism. Inside of Hilton Direct there are FOUR married couples. If you aren’t family, or aren’t willing to have poop on your nose, good luck. If you’re not family or besties with management you’re not getting promoted. The promoter who they want and not who deserves it. I was let go while I was on maternity leave only to find out my manager replaced me with her cousin. This place is extremely unethical.

Advice to Management

Chris Nasetta needs to pay more attention to Hilton Direct and the managers. They are extremely unethical and unfair and the amount of nepotism unbelievable.
