How are senior leaders perceived at IDC (International Data Corporation)?

Pros

Great work environment, relaxed atmosphere, good hours. - international people - young and older groups - Work life balance and culture - if you are friendly to others you can easily meet people - decent working tools - Ealing offices are agreeable - Some events that make some of the company vibe

Cons

- "Dinosaur" company with people that are way too senior or there for ever... - company revolves around traditional management, not leadership. - They don't value young professionals or efforts - Low pay compared to London living for some roles (especially entry-level) - no promotions or growth after a few years, that's why so many people leave... - Some managers are micro-managers in sales and ops - Some discrepancies between department budgets. - Not a very transparent company, upper management and VP are mysterious - Salary scales seem non-existent as well as HR completely inexistent in Europe. - lay-off regularly happens, just to tighten their budget, if you don't want to be lay off you need to be friends with upper management (biased), they usually do with young professionals because it is cheaper to end their employment.

Advice to Management
