What is the retirement plan like at Imagine Learning?

Pros

The people they hire are really smart and they push you to be smarter. Team work is really strong at this company.

Cons

I don’t think management has an understanding of the amount of work on their employees plates. As the company restructures roles, more and more is asked. It’s hard to meet expectations and deadlines. I used to say that the remote and flexible hours were a bonus, but I worked about 55-60 hours a week before the layoffs. The benefits package from salary to 401k were not comparable to other companies.

Advice to Management

I was drowning in work before the layoffs. I can’t imagine my workload being divided up to others that are also drowning. People are starting to lose the joy in the place because of the amount of workloads and irrelevant tasks. It’s hard to be proactive when you don’t have time for even lunch.

Does Imagine Learning offer parental leave?

Pros

Remote Friendly, Great Community between co-workers, and involved with helping Education. A wide Variety of things to learn and to help Educators and Students alike with. Decent Pay for the remote work with Over-Time readily available during busy seasons. Good Benefits offered.

Cons

Inefficient Training on the Content of the Systems Supported - one learns more through constantly not-knowing-and-asking-questions for senior members when attempting to help live-calls/chats/emails. Workload can be overwhelming with Short-Staffing issues and complicated situations. Limited Mobility Options through Ranks. Low Raises each year.

Advice to Management

Refine and Improve Training to all employees, end use of out-of-country-Contractors and increase hiring of more Full-Time-Employees. Add additional mobility to employees for better retention. Increase Pay.

Good Benefits offered.
