What is the salary like at Khoros?

Pros

Excellent Work-life balance, Decent Pay, Good Growth, Parallel move easy, Company listens to the employee and changes accordingly ( grows ), open door policy.

Cons

Pay could get better (better than most companies though), Employee retention is average ( although the company has started working on it )

Advice to Management

Whatever the ask is, the management is very eager to change and work on its cons.

Does Khoros offer bonus pay?

Pros

-Business is growing and doing well -Lots of benefits and flexible PTO -Supportive and inclusive culture

Cons

-Business likely to merge and be sold, might be let go at that time -Lots of rules and tests in interview process to find their type rather than talent -Hires a lot of entry level people they can pay less -Not a lot of mid-career opportunity, long wait to get to people manager level, nothing in between individual contributor and Director/VP for most departments. -Salaries somewhat low for being a very profitable tech company in Austin. Likely influenced to be lower by the private equity company that owns Khoros. -Bonuses have many stipulations and you often get a small amount in reality.

Advice to Management

The benefits are nice but they are not a replacement for lower than average pay. To retain employees longer and get more value out of them, pay them more and create more opportunities for their career to advance.
