Does Khoros offer massages?

Pros

Naturally with a merger comes some trials and tribulations, however this is the smoothest merger I have been through - although there have been many challenges, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel. I have seen rapid progression within the business, if you are willing to put in the effort. In the EMEA office we have a unique culture and overall the vibe is positive, with plenty of socialising and drinking events. If the integration of products goes well, it will be a market leading solution that should bring in the results. Being part of the Vista portfolio, there is good cross-company collaboration on best practices to help improve Khoros. Good benefits including free lunch everyday (deliveries on Friday), drinks in the office, healthcare & dental care, gym membership discount to name a few. On the whole, I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Khoros & the legacy company before that mainly due to the culture in the EMEA office and the great people I have worked with.

Cons

Lack of communication with the US can be an issue, along with differing processes within the 2 legacy businesses. There has been some churn globally due to the merger which can always be tough, however no more than expected from my previous experiences with mergers. Workload can be higher in times where staff have left or when taken over 2 sets of clients/prospects.

Advice to Management

Keep communicating and working with the EMEA office - there is huge potential in markets such as Germany, France, etc. Keep taking staff feedback on board and look into the granular issues, not just the overall picture.

Does Khoros offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Big new office space. Decent benefits package. Flexibility to WFH depending on your role. Backing from Vista Equity is valued in the marketplace.

Cons

Morale is incredibly low - it’s truly sad to see given the strength of the legacy companies. Vision for Khoros is unclear in the near term. Good people are being let go and orgs are being restructured as leadership tries to figure out how to navigate this merger. Demand in the marketplace is not what it once was. Respected, ex-Lithium CEO recently pushed out for new, Vista-backed CEO. You don’t need two guesses to understand what that means.

Advice to Management

Instead of advice to management, here is some advice to those checking out this page as you evaluate an opportunity: Do not join Khoros until Khoros can figure out what it is. Who knows how long that will take...

Decent benefits package.

Does Khoros offer life insurance?

Pros

Not many left, perhaps once the two platforms are combined but as of now it's not good. The new Austin office will be really nice but no longer downtown. Good luck if you rely on public transportation.

Cons

Life was great pre merger. New leadership doesn't know what's going on with its workforce. Everyone from management to your top performers are leaving by the day. I guess this is what happens after a merger, but the culture and excitement that there was before the merger is non-existent.

Advice to Management

Stop firing your best people

Life was great pre merger.
