What are pay raises like at McKinley Rice?
Pros
None really. It's basically an institution that hires freshers, teaches them some basics of the industry through heavy micro-management & HR charades, then people leave within a year. You'll get your salary on time. (the amount may be subject to the discrepancy, but the date of salary is fixed)
Cons
1) You will be highly underpaid if you are a girl vs you'll be heavily paid because you are a guy. (Patriarchy runs in this organisation) 2) You might be a graduate in your field, but you aren't allowed to use your brains 3) You aren't allowed to take an extra breath without the management knowing about it. Because hey! we love micro-management 4) MnR never believes in market research or test marketing. So never come up with stupid ideas like let's try this or let's research first cuz no one's got time for that. 5) You'll get to learn an abundance of Black Hat Marketing techniques which is morally & ethically demeaning but hey! The company loves profit, so no use thinking about customers. 6) MnR has an army of HR Clowns who will come up with fantastic ideas that will help you successfully waste your time with no actual results. So basically you won't be working here but just taking part in HR activities because it's fun, (sic). 7) MnR will shower you with gifts to cover their incompetence as an organisation. 8) HRs are highly unresponsive when it comes to salary settlements, disputes, etc. No wonder, because engagement activities are of more importance than actually listening to what their employees have to say.
Advice to Management
Start taking your employees seriously & pay attention to your employee attrition rate. It's alarming!
