How are the career development opportunities at Minacs?

Pros

Good workmates, good salary as compared to the competition and for the nature of the job and many overtime opportunities, paid at a double rate

Cons

Management didn’t want to promote advisors and would always hire inexperienced people from the outside. It didn’t make sense, as they were supposed to guide through a very specific job to experienced people. The lack of career opportunities, as well as bad shifts and lack of flexibility from an incompetent workforce (I struggled to have a day off for my wedding! despite letting them know in due time) would lead to demotivated employees that would mostly eventually leave in less than one year, especially those who were young and talented. Also, dress code and stupid prohibitions would make you think of kindergarten times.

Advice to Management

Improve career opportunities and remove stupid policies that would only frustrate employees. Start treating them as the adults they are!

How is management perceived at Minacs?

Pros

The pay is pretty consistent

Cons

Super high turnover of people and policies. I had days where a policy would change 2-3 times and it was only communicated in an email. Because employees on my campaign receive upwards of 100+ emails a day, these emails would get lost in the shuffle, but upper management would be completely unsympathetic and refused to institute more accessibility to the rapidly changing policies despite it being the number one requests by most employees. High turnover of both CSR's and team leaders means no one was ever on the same page - people would regularly be trained the wrong way or not trained at all which lead to a lot of needless complications where customers requests would be actioned incorrectly or not at all, leading to very low customer satisfaction and trust in the organization.

Advice to Management

Listen to the people with their boots on the ground. They aren't complaining about systemic issues because they have nothing better to do.
