1. Good Salary 2. Good additional pay with profit sharing bonus 3. Great Medical facilities and reimbursement 4. Good Perks 5. Fix hour job, No overtime, Additional Night Shift Allowance 6. Good sports facilities

Cons

1. Work location is far from city, so won't be able to enjoy city life (though the township has many facilities to compensate that). 2. Shift job, one third days of month you have to do night duty. So sleep cycle gets disturbed. 3. Since it's a thermal power plant, coal pollution may affect health in long term.

Fixed salary increment even without promotions. Work stress almost negligible. Salary lucrative for undergraduates.

Cons

Location is rural so work and home only two places you will know till the age of 60. A lot of time left with nothing to do. Boredom is huge. Typical govt. Style work culture with a facade of corporate. Dull environment that doesn't encourages innovation.

Everybody is very nice and a lot of opportunities are availible.

People are great, they help you very well to get familiar with work and go extra mile for it

Work schedule is on shift which might be irregular for work life balance
