Does NortonLifeLock offer sponsored degrees?

Pros

They really invest in you as an employee and a person. With tuition reimbursement(while you work there) and time each month to help professional development. Lots of experience in the tech world since there products are so immersive in the network.

Cons

Bad management. Virtually no training or on boarding process.

Advice to Management

Managers need development and coaching as well. Spend some time helping those struggling to improve, this will trickle down to TSE improvement. There are also many opportunities for operational improvements.

Does NortonLifeLock pay for a gym membership?

Pros

Very nice Mountain View campus Nice, free gym Fairly frequent beer bashes

Cons

High stress, long hours People are happy to throw you under the bus if they can get ahead Money is tight Old school feel - tools are processes are old Struggling to come up with relevant products Revolving door Shortly after I left, my entire team was laid off. I was lucky to escape in time.

Advice to Management

Invest in employees Address the gloom and unhappiness

Does NortonLifeLock offer unlimited holiday?

Pros

- Unlimited vacation and full benefits

Cons

- A terrible culture that is not conducive to your career development - Designers are not valued and developers are overworked to meet unrealistic deadlines - Completely waterfall not Agile at all - Their leadership is all over the place and do not offer any clear insights on the direction of the company - Lots of politics to get things done - Design, marketing and engineering departments are constantly fighting each other for a say in the product but never seem to reach an agreement

Advice to Management

Hire more competent and talented leaders that actually understand how to run a talented tech team.
