Does Optiva offer unlimited holiday?

Pros

Can't think of any. Negatives outweigh the positive

Does Optiva offer parental leave?

Pros

This is not a place for permanent employees, this is a contractor oriented company. I really Don't know who the **** gave the reviews for this worst company. I think contractors across the world would have done, I am sure not the indian employees.

Cons

1) Don't Join Optiva India- Reason - if you joining as a indian permanent employee then you will be screwed by contractors(who is getting 50$ or 60$ per hour) who had worked for 17-20 years in a very old project. 2) No team work:- Contractors never help out the Indian employees (to be honest trust me) to understand the product, if they do they may loose the job. 3) Optiva India Head - Joker - He is the worst and cheap guy. He don't have any technical details as he was the most experience guy somehow he landed on this position and screwing the indian employees 4) Indian Managers - All the indian managers are worst 5) Don't join if you are hired for OCE project which is the worst team that I have worked in my IT career. 6)Worst HR and process and leave plan, employee benefits. 7) I don't recommend this company ,they will torture you to join the company and they do offer somethings to you . Please don't fall for it. 8) Very Old Projects not having customers 9) No increments since last two years and they screwed the bonus (variable comp 70% of variable) component saying company did not performed well. Better ask them to deposit the variable component in bank's FD.

Advice to Management

1)Please deposit the bonus component of the employees in the bank and give them back to employees, so that they will get atleast their money back. 2) Please irrespective of the location have only employees and don't have contractors across the globe, otherwise don't hire anyone as a permanent employee in india to screw their life. 3) Change the CTO and optiva india head so that the company will have a healthy environment.

Does Optiva offer a wellness program?

How are the career development opportunities at Optiva?

Pros

There is work from home option and flexible work timings which provides amazing work life balance. The company has such a diverse workforce, lot of opportunities to learn and grow. The management is very much friendly and approachable.

Cons

None so far. The company is in good hands. Best time to be in Optiva.
