What kind of career opportunities exist at P. Marshall & Associates?

Pros

Great place to work with an interactive environment even with COVID restrictions. Managers care about your well-being and mental health. Great vacation policy and work from home opportunities

Cons

Not really a con but you will be put into situations where you will have learn and execute on the fly. This is talked about in the employee orientation though, so take it for what it is.

Advice to Management

Keep making work fun and interactive. Can't wait for the activities and work gatherings to continue.

Does P. Marshall & Associates have any sort of mentoring programme?

Pros

Collaboration is important. Culture is all about empowering employees and driving us toward success. Allows everyone to make decisions to benefit the team, company, and client. They don’t have layers of approvals and hoops to jump through. Casual dress code, as in non-existing, because we are all adults who know what is work appropriate based on daily schedule. Free food, Unlimited PTO, flexible schedules with Work from Home. The atmosphere is inviting, teamwork is encouraged, and caters to both introverted and extroverted .

Cons

Pay is on the lower end for Telecom due to size of company, but is improving as we expand in size. Benefits for health, dental, and vision are expensive and lack the bells and whistles of larger companies coverage. No tuition reimbursement. Training and Development need to be addressed, with a Program and Leadership for direction and involvement. Organization has not restructured with growth, and continues to operate as a small flat organization even though the need for specialists and employee growth incentives are apparent for long term retention.

Advice to Management

Reassess organizational structure to account for growth. Development plan for work load increases and need to retain employees with advancement to support increase in client needs.

Training and Development need to be addressed, with a Program and Leadership for direction and involvement.

Pros

Laid back culture, free lunch, games, party. If you like to have fun, this company might fit you well.

Cons

No training on your skills, the manager does not have time to watch over you.
