How are the career development opportunities at PayPal?
Pros
benefits, compensation, culture, flexible working hours, opportunities to grow, changes means more development opportunities, steady consistent work, see myself long term while having work life balance.
Cons
constant changes, organizational changes, organization moves slowly or making decisions, silos amongst the broader organization and within product, changes in priorities from leadership having a ripple effect downstream causing delays or putting projects on hold (stopping and starting).

Does PayPal have any sort of mentoring programme?
Pros
Good culture and mentorship. Its team dependent. Challenging work. Still has a lot scope and can become the industry leader once again if management executes current vision.
Cons
Salary needs to be more competitive. Better benefits.
Advice to Management
Cut down the fat and increase pay where there is value.

Why do PayPal employees quit?
Pros
The benefits are good The people are nice Remote work is nice
Cons
The cons would be they are failing as a company because they are not organized. They change products and systems way too much. They recently did a layoff and you were basically called into a mandatory meeting on a live stream and were told you no longer have a job HR comes on and tells you about your severance package and all your access will be cut off after the call. Management NEVER asks what you are working on where you left off and what needs to be done. That is VERY POOR Management and you will never be successful running a company like that.
Advice to Management
People have families and we dedicate our time to this Organization and for you to let people go with no explanation and we can't even ask questions was extremely poor and why the CEO says they are in a good place he receives 35 million or something like that in stocks and raises you took away from the people who helped build and run your company. The CFO left for a reason
