How are the career development opportunities at Quarterra?
Pros
Welcoming, friendly, positive, supportive and caring company as a whole. There are growth opportunities and it's a growing company.
Cons
Like any company, budget is tight to make the most profit and grow. However, there are things that need more funding or should take priority in order to excel in performance and service not only to do the what's necessary.
Advice to Management
Executives and upper management - I think the company will benefit greatly by giving more decision making authority in order to make quicker decisions to associates and/or management.

How are promotions handled at Quarterra?
Pros
- Best support system. - Truly feels like a family, more than just a company. - Multiple opportunity for promotions. - Love Tod, Josh, Jodi & Claire...they truly cares about their employees & want to see us succeed and grow. - Extremely diverse! I fit right in. <3 Personally I've had an amazing experience with LMC, from the day I started, to as I write my review right now. Couldn't be happier to be part of all the growth & development LMC offers. Even through the pandemic, LMC went above & beyond to take care of us employees, protect, & support us during these unpredictable times.
Cons
Cons - None come to mind, keep up the great work!

How do employees feel about their professional development opportunities at Quarterra?
Pros
Lennar supports the vision and the financial commitment to achieve best-in-class, gorgeous communities. Great with recognizing achievements and creating positive work environments for the onsite/in the field teams. Great training department. Well-oiled machine for ensuring continuity of service across the country. Set high standards for operators, elevating the LMC properties in their respected markets. They will invest in tools and products that create efficiencies. Attracts great talent! Overall, it is a great company and anyone is lucky to get to work with this group.
Cons
Corporate departments are very siloed and corporate politics are the worst I've seen. If you aren't on their island, you might as well not exist. No positive acknowledgments or recognition of accomplishments at the corporate level. A thankless environment. Some department heads will take the credit for your work.
Advice to Management
It's ok for cross-department collaboration among multiple team members. Knock down the walls and open up the communication outside of the supervisors. Your corporate employees aren't being heard. Many have great ideas or concerns that could open up great opportunities if they were heard without the fear of being banned from the "LMC island." I was treated horribly by my direct supervisor. When I reported it, the treatment got worse, and the executive leadership team praised this employee. Treat your corporate teams the same way you treat your onsite teams; as a valuable asset that is pivotal to the company's success.
Great training department.

What is the feeling of job security at Quarterra?
Pros
There are some really great people at LMC.
Cons
The environment is very political and backstabbing, even though they pretend to be friendly and caring with silly sayings and catch phrases. The managers lied for months about no layoffs due to COVID, then surprised 30 people in June 2020 with phone calls telling them they no longer had jobs. A pathetic severance package was offered during a time when no one was hiring.
Advice to Management
Stop focusing on your personal bank accounts. You're already multi-millionaires. How about caring about the employees for a change? Be honest with the employees. They are grown professionals and can handle the truth.
