Does R+L Global Logistics offer a quarterly bonus?

Pros

I have NEVER in 15 years of work/employers been told so many lies. This place will lie to get you in the door because they are desperate. In reality they have worse turnover than McDonalds. They will promise “UNCAPPED Bonus potential” - in Reality part timers at radio shack or Best Buy have better bonus structures. They will find any way possible to rationalize NOT paying a monthly or quarterly bonus. They tell you - “if you hit this sales # you’ll make this much”. When you blow that # out the park they’ll say “you’re actually receiving a $0 bonus because the branch didn’t do well”. I ask any human this - what does any branch have to do with Individual sales numbers or success? They pay well beneath industry standard. If you’re a person with REAL Skills or experience & you have other options, TAKE YOUR TALENT ELSEWHERE. Or else you’ll remember this review & think “dang I should’ve listened”. If you’re a person who desperately needs a job - sadly this is the place for you. They hardly ever fire under performers - they need the staff. Because every month/quarter when you find out bonus payout - the new hires from the previous quarter Quit. It’s a slap in the face - they say the branch didn’t do well but the branch makes $300K-$500K average A month. The Greedy extremely Stingy owners take home $250 Million a Year! Instead of paying a fair salary or making up for your salary with a fair bonus - they instead buy vacation properties - equestrian estates. It’s honestly sickening. I’ve personally witnessed people who made $20K profit in a month get a $130 bonus pay check. I wish I was making this up. I’ve seen so many people and their families hurt because of this place. My family is one of them. I stayed hoping that it would change because management always promises it will. But Next time bonus rolls around - guess what No matter what you do - YOU WONT GET PAID and a week later, the company/owners will announce the purchase of a new vacation property in the hills of California - they’re literally spending your bonus on their already rich family. Unless you really need a job and can’t get hired anywhere else - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR - don’t even take an interview here. They will lie. When you ask them about the glass door reviews - they will lie. I see the recruiters and other managers have begun posting Fake Reviews saying how Great it is - since I was hired several months back. Don’t fall for it. When they did an employee satisfaction survey the 2nd month of my employment the grade was 2/5 stars from over 10 branches and hundreds of employees feedback. Please trust me & value yourself The pros don’t seem much like pros because they exploit and take advantage of their employees to offer them.

Cons

I gave the cons above - it doesn’t pay to be greedy. Whether it’s the execs or the owners Please Do Better. People have families. You lose All of your good talent & hard workers every month over month simply because you DONT take care of them correctly. Think about this - you can still be Greedy & Selfish and take home 90% of profits . Imagine if you paid your workers 10% of what they made you. Imagine how happy they’d be. Imagine how much harder they’d work? Imagine how much longer they would stay with the company. I’ve seen managers quit. I’ve seen top 5 employees in the company quit. I’ve seen 1-week old employees quit. 1 month old employees quit. I’ve seen 1 person fired lol because he had horrible sales #’s for over a year. Please Listen To me clearly - DO RIGHT BY YOUR PEOPLE AND YOUR PEOPLE WILL DO RIGHT BY YOU. This entire place needs an overhaul. From management to training (haha what a joke) to hr to recruiting. If you KNOW you’re a great employee please find another place to employ you. If your fresh out of college & really need an opportunity PLEASE get your experience then LEAVE do not waste your 20’s in this place. If you’re a person that desperately needs a job - this is the place for you. Sad to say that but if you’re a complacent person that’s just happy to have a job & don’t care how you’re paid or when you’re paid or how managers speak to you or treat you! This is the place for you. They will say this is a family company. It is NOT it’s owned by a family who takes All the profits. They do not value or respect the families that work for them. They want to hand you pennies on the dollar & they want you to get on your knees & thank them. They know what they’re doing is wrong - or else they wouldn’t conduct themselves how they do. Your bonus meeting is held in private - not in respect of your pay/privacy but so that you don’t voice your frustrations with your peers at the same time. They also wait until the day before pay day to tell you how much your bonus is. They do this so you don’t quit earlier in the week.

Advice to Management

Stop falsifying Reviews so that you can have a better average. That says a lot about the type of company you are. Pay your people correctly & your problems will go away. Pay your people 10% and let the greedy execs & owners keep 90% - YOU WILL BE SURPRISED how much More money your greedy owners get to take home. Statistics show - your profits could double when you properly pay, reward, and incentivize your employees. Side note - your new “amazing” bonus structure released last month IS NOT AMAZING. People who sale Cell phones in Costco get paid more & that’s sad. As it currently stands I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to work here. I care about people and families. What you’re doing isn’t right. I hope karma doesn’t bite you in the butt

What is the salary like at R+L Global Logistics?

Pros

This company has a lot going for it. All the tools for success are there. The pay is decent and the fast pace makes for a quick work day. I enjoyed the work I did, and was successful at it. Loved my customers, and most of my peer coworkers .

Cons

Management is a mess. Hands down, the worst I ever worked for. Two individuals at the top aren't on the same page,and it trickles down from there. They promote people based on numbers, not actual ability to lead or manage people. Some branches have good managers, some have egotisical tyrants, some have inept wanna bes. Its truly a mixed bag, depending on where you are. They could just be so much better than they are.

Advice to Management

When you say one thing, but do another, consistently, no one believes you anymore. Stop running after the latest shiny thing, and get back to fundamentals. Nobody understands the bonus program. No one. Anytime people's pay depends on numbers, numbers should be transparent .

The pay is decent and the fast pace makes for a quick work day.

What are other benefits and incentives like at R+L Global Logistics?

Pros

You’ll get left alone for the most part if you hit your numbers.

Cons

This company does not want employees making money. They will change the structure if you meet your goals too easily without telling you. No leadership. They will not help you at all or give you proper training. You will feel like you’re a contractor renting out a desk. If you have a complaint to HR they will not investigate or take action. We had to come into work during the pandemic there was no option to work from home. We didn’t even receive hazard pay Or any extra incentive for risking our health. They will find anyway not to pay out on bonuses and when they do there’s no description or detail. The company is a big believer in hierarchy god forbid you question to a higher up.

Advice to Management

Please pick and choose better managers. Everyone needs to be held responsible. Get a better pay structure. the one that is current isn’t working. Find a better computer program. Please have HR do their job and investigate into crude or harassing comments and maintain private information.

We didn’t even receive hazard pay Or any extra incentive for risking our health.
