Pros

Employee orientated company. Good communication from leaders about company direction. They are putting a lot of effort into making sure everyone is aware of their respective career paths. Lots of opportunity to grow with the company. Great culture and on boarding process. Continuous focus to improve.

Cons

As a new starter, it might sometimes feel a bit frantic not entirely sure where you are headed at first, but as time passed, it got better.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing.

Pros

Some very nice people on US team

Cons

REPL has none of the experience or competencies necessary to build a sustained US presence. This is a UK HQ'D, very small private company that obtains business through UK partner referral and has no real experience or commitment to growth in the US market. Owners believe US customers will be drawn to them without effort, as they are in the UK. There is no understanding of the US buying criterial and the need to demonstrate a value proposition. On numerous occasions over the past few years, they have hire experienced sales teams however they offer no support and make commitments and promises that they have no intentions of fulfilling. The turnover has been tremendous. Leadership keeps any and all good leads for themselves, refuses to create or share a compensation plan for the sales team and pays commissions at their sole discretion - providing no rational to support these decisions. They have several women in significant leadership positions in the UK, who appear competent - but don't be fooled by this, they are completely un-empowered - the 3 owners undermine them on a regular basis. It is a disappointing experience on so many levels. This is not a company recommended for any passionate individual who is committed to their career development, reputation or growth - KEEP LOOKING!

Pros

Lots of opportunities for the right people Different professional background Good for graduates Provides some stability for contractors looking for permanent employment

Cons

Little structure Don't take into account personal goals Direction seem to be dominated by whims of the founders rather than a coherent approach Not good for mid career professionals looking for defined (ish) career path Short termism Can act more like an employment agency

Advice to Management

Maybe stick with graduates and contractors for certain roles.

Pros

> Plenty of opportunities if you are willing to be patient and seek them out. > If you like a challenge and being thrown in at the deep end, this is the place for you. > Travel possibilities. > Household name clients. > Genuine family feel with great Christmas parties (pandemic permitting). > Some people on senior leadership team came in at Senior Consultant level, demonstrating how far you can go in a reasonable amount of time. > Ongoing improvement (offices, policies, equipment) as they genuinely listen to their people.

Cons

> Not a con but it may not be for everyone - starting as graduate (in 2013) I learned that nobody is going to hand you a career path. Things have likely changed, but you may find you need to write your own path, persevering early days with your initial role and absorbing as much as possible. Once you gather some experience, you will then be far more likely to have you pick of the projects. > IT wouldn't upgrade my 2kg Thinkpad despite a device refresh but I believe there is now a "pick your own" device scheme.
