No support from management or HR, employees lied to, no sick pay, no health insurance, catty/negative atmosphere between staff, no workplace culture, depressing and isolating roles, senior staff will breach staff contracts to please clients, disorganised management team, no perks whatsoever

I would suggest a total re-organisation and a major audit of SMR and the way in which you operate - staff are unhappy for a reason and rightly so with the way they are treated. Look closely at the behaviour of senior staff - HR should be managing and supporting staff properly

very English-old money. You mind find yourself being the only women in the meeting (especially on higher level). If you are not English you might be laughed at occasionally.

One person shouldn't make big business decisions based on their personal issues or feelings. Look at getting external consultants to assess what needs changing as changes and "improvements" seem chaotic . Additionally an online workshop on how not to be racists is not the way of solving a huge problem in the company's culture.

People are friendly here and there are quite an amount of opportunities for career progression and growth. Depending on your boss, you do get a knowledge of the department's plans for you.

However, culture differs from department to department, and hence you would not know too much before joining if you have the long or short end of the stick

I think the culture of the company on a corporate level could be improved.
