What are some insights into the strategy or vision at Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology?

Pros

Some faculties are really talented and hardworking. Too many things to keep you very busy and away from your family, incase you hate your family and have zero career prospects outside Srishti. Extends a huge sense of purpose and validation to people who had failed careers and are mostly miserable and pessimistic

Cons

Where to begin? This place appears like an oasis of progressive change and reformed education in a long never ending desert of obsolete education system. Its all a mirage!!! Srishti is mostly a fibe star hotel for entitled and privileged. All behaviours, activities and mind states are accepted, encouraged and overlooked (especially illegal) You can only drag your feet for so long to pursue a mirage before you give up and die. This place is micromanaged by a dictator… sorry…director who exercises absolute authority and control through her inner circle of SS officers… sorry.. deans. They lie, play politics, over burden a set of people, extended wild privileges to their worshippers and chastise people who stand up to them. Apart from whimsical drastic changes, heavily left political view (collectively imposed) and delusional leadership, they very discreetly exercise casteism and serious coverups. Faculties are not allowed to seek help of HR resources extended by MAHE. People are frequently coerced into resignation by breaking them mentally/emotionally. Post resignation is also a big nightmare, and lord there are so many stories or verbal and mental abuse. I would never recommend anyone to join this institution. There is no transparency or clarity in any aspect of working here. I am waiting for all the skeletons to get exposed in mainstream media because extraordinary things happen inside srishti which transcend beyond domain of ethics, professionalism and legality.

Advice to Management

Please Do not exist. Every time you enrol a student or hire an employee, your existence affect lives for more worse than better. In last few months lots and lots of talented and sincere people have resigned and left. This is a sinking ship and a recipe for something very “interesting and unprecedented “
