Does State Street Syntel offer malpractice insurance?

Pros

1) Good for freshers from tier II tier III cities, who are deprived of quality education. 2) If you are Associate/Sr. Associate in a captive (not a third party organization) you can join State Street Syntel on a higher designation team leader or Deputy manager depending on your CTC and talent. You can switch to a better organization after taking 1-2 years on paper managerial experience. 3) Training team is good and provides good conceptual knowledge to freshers.

Cons

1) Compensation structure sucks. Your actual take home salary will be 1 to 1.5 laks lesser than what is shown in CTC if you are working as E3/E4 2) Fresher CTC 2laks (Net take home will be around 11-12 thousand. 3) No incentives for freshers (E0) for 1st year. 4) I have seen people getting annual hike of mere 84 rupees on their CTC. It sucks. 5) There is no Night shift allowance 6) No Sodexho / meal pass 7) Transport fascility is not so good 8) Parent are not coverred under insurance. You need to pay extra from your pocket for parental insurance. 9) Saturday and Sunday is calculated as paid leave if you take leave continuous for two weeks or more. 10) Pune campus is far far away from the city.

Advice to Management

Learn to value your employees and let it reflect through their salaries. I have seen deputy managers from this organization joining other organizations as team leaders due to low current CTC.

You need to pay extra from your pocket for parental insurance.
