Pros

There are a handful of smart people who want to improve things and create a better environment, if you are at the company seek them out and your time will be much better.

Cons

The environment at Strata is toxic. Company events are drunken messes, the company encourages over indulgence which leads to a lot of inappropriate conduct, sometimes involving clients. Sexual harassment runs rampant, ranging from very inappropriate comments and solicitations to grabbing and groping. The most disturbing part is upper management and HR side with the harasser and sweep everything under the rug. Most of the offenders are still working in the company currently, getting promotions and pats on the back. Those that have left the company did so to climb the ladder elsewhere, not because they were held accountable for their actions. High level employees are incompetent, many of them have elevated well beyond their capabilities. Many fake positions are invented with large salaries and no use just to keep around older employees who have been with the company for some time. Recently some of this info was left in an insecure public drive and was found by an employee. The result of this was the person who found it was fired, whilst the high level employee who caused the breach was shielded with no repercussion. For a company entrusted with massive amounts of PHI this is troubling on a much higher, and honestly legal/public concern level.

Advice to Management

The parent company needs to overhaul the entire upper level management, from C-level employees to directors. It's only a matter of time before a lawsuit or news article about conduct at the company severely damages the company.

The environment at Strata is toxic.

Pros

Strata truly lives up to its values and the people who work there are just simply the best. The HQ is in the heart of downtown Chicago and it is a pretty relaxed office setting (with a work hard, play hard culture!) I felt like all employees (Entry-level, Upper Management, C-Suite, etc.) were approachable and really made work enjoyable. I only left due to my family relocating, or else I could see a long career with Strata.

Cons

The salary seems to be a bit lower than other industries/companies I have worked or interviewed for.

Advice to Management

Just keep living up to those values and investing in the employees. The company and product is great, but the people and culture are what makes us want to come to work everyday.

Suite, etc.) were approachable and really made work enjoyable.

Pros

Meaningful and challenging work with tons of opportunities regardless of age Issues are handled in a thoughtful and transparent manner Work with the most prestigious systems in healthcare - Kaiser, Cleveland Clinic, Intermountain, Northwestern. You name it, they work with them. Tries really hard to keep employee engagement high and hold managers accountable for it Stability of a multi-billion dollar firm but the feel of a small company

Cons

As with any rapidly growing company, there are growing pains and some disgruntled employees that are not on board and express this in a passive aggressive manner - glassdoor, etc. A lot of change! If you can't handle it, not the place for you. Not your typical 9-5 job, not the place for you if that's what you are looking for.

Advice to Management

Watch out for the overhead and unproductive roles as the company grows. Not every glassdoor review needs action - some of the feedback is absolutely ridiculous.

A lot of change!
