Does VMware offer dental insurance?

Pros

Good benefits including 401(k) matching, gym, health insurance, vision and dental insurance and lots of small perks. Culture is generally good, supportive of remote workers Most of the teams respects and supports female employees, they won't talk over them and always give them opportunities to speak up. Also it's a very diverse company with lots of internaltional workers

Cons

Re-org very often, twice a year and will be likely to get laid off

Good benefits including 401(k) matching, gym, health insurance, vision and dental insurance and lots of small perks.

Does VMware offer parental leave?

Pros

The company is solving very unique and challenging problems. Tons of work to solve which makes the day to day work very exciting

Cons

Lack of Canadian HR support as well as sufficient maternity leave benefits for women in the workplace. The company and CEO say they care about D&I and improving diversity in the workplace but maternity leave benefits are not competitive with the market (4 weeks top up vs. 30+ weeks top up) with little to no progress or improvements to be made.

Does VMware have a pension plan?

Pros

Great company, good benefits , pension and time off and work life balance.

Cons

Too many management hierarchy, complex and sometimes unnecessary processes, company objectives does not filter down to employee level. Not much career opportunities unless you willing to change to something new.

Advice to Management

None at this time.
