Does WTW offer relocation assistance?

Pros

If you end up in a really good working team - job family environment with a caring attitude towards one another's well-being Good benefit package options (full of a variety of selections on offer at very reasonable corporate rates)

Cons

Large communication channel gap - At times decisions taken by senior management management cascade little information to middle management or not in a timely manner, so average working colleagues are not always kept up to date as to what is going on in the business (critical) Career pathing options extremely limited and any formal training offered (if any) is minimal or none to say the least

Advice to Management

Start offering formal training and some improvement in offering frequent internal training / formal certifications

Good benefit package options (full of a variety of selections on offer at very reasonable corporate rates)

Does WTW offer dental insurance?

Pros

Benefits are good (both 401k and pension and additional options on top of basic medical/HSA/FSA, dental, vision). My team members have been super supportive, helpful, and open to answering questions. I’ve never felt like I had to hold a question back for fear for feeling stupid. Company culture emphasizes diversity and inclusion and cares about work/life balance. Schedule is flexible and you can set when you start/end as long as it’s during core business hours and you can choose when your breaks are. There’s also a yearly bonus and pay raise based on how your department and the company did.

Cons

Orientation can be long at times and training modules can be repetitive, but I think that shows they give you extra chances to know important policies and laws (ex: HIPAA, Code of Conduct, etc). The pay can also be a lot more competitive but I do realize I was hired during COVID and I haven’t been here long enough to receive any bonuses/raises. There’s also a busy season from September - December.

Does WTW have a pension plan?

Pros

The people are amazing and are why people stay. The business is fast paced and challenging which is a benefit. They have solid onboarding program and mentorship throughout the engineering staff. They do allow permanent work from home and a pension. They are also actively trying to figure out how to keep their employees which is a plus.

Cons

Engineers are underpaid for market despite the company saying otherwise and they have no intention of paying market value. They have also used bonuses to seem as if they were going to get you a large bonus for the year based on the first half percentage, just to cut it back in the second half of the year. The lack of staff makes it difficult to keep good employees. Teams are continuously overworked and if they ask for a new employee to fill a void they have to jump through a lot of hoops. Talent continuously leaves due to how management handles employment and labels employees as disgruntled instead of addressing the issue at its core. Expect to work long hours, take your laptop on vacations and not be able to take PTO during projects and during the busy season.

Advice to Management

I would advise hiring more employees, the company is short staffed at all times and can never catch up on workload.

They do allow permanent work from home and a pension.

Does WTW offer parental leave?

Pros

Work from home full time Flexible work schedule and PTO Wonderful maternity leave- I had two babies at different times and was out on paid leave for 4 months at a time

Cons

They make promises they don't keep and will drag you along as long they can. Upper Management doesn't care about the employees they just want to make money off you and you won't see a single cent besides your wage. They will fire you if they can hire someone for cheaper.
