How often do employees say they are paid at Walgreens Boots Alliance?

Pros

- 10 hours of overtime each week if you want it - Can usually take PTO anytime you want if you have any built up - 401k match is nice - Work in your pajamas - 40 hour work week guaranteed - This job is just that. A job to barely pay bills.

Cons

-Pay rate for call center rep? Usually start out at 11.25/11.50 and only receive a low pay raise at the end of the year. I started at 11.25/hr and was only making 11.90/hr after three years of service. - Is it busy? Yes. Back to back, non stop calls. As soon as one call ends, another begins. You have to immediately answer. 80+ calls per day and they expect you to keep most calls under 3 minutes in my department. - Work from home sounds great right? No , its not glamorous. You are sitting in your chair for 8 hours + per day. You don't get to walk around. The angry customers and back to back calls turn your home of peace into a boiler room. - I can pick my shift? Kinda.not really. They will give you shifts to choose from and then change them to support the call center needs. The shifts they offer are not ideal..and you must work there for at least 2 years to even get to pick your own shift. - VTO is nonexistent right now and has not been offered in over a year now. Any time you want off, must come out of your PTO balance. - Need help? Cant raise your hand. You are expected to research any issue you have or ask another agent in Microsoft teams..who is also taking back to back calls and will not answer you in time. The customer will be angry when you finally reply. - Constant system issues which bring down you adherence time and call times. Management wants proof of everything and watch you like a hawk. - Opportunity? Only if you are a brown nose snitch who kisses butt of the managers. You get to watch agents that started with you get promoted when you have better scores. So if you are looking for a small paycheck to help pay bills, apply here. It will take every ounce of your sanity and make you never want to talk on the phone again.

Pros

Great company. Great service to customers. Great training.

Cons

Pay is not enough and we do not have commission to compensate low hourly wage. Lots of calls for to little income.

Does Walgreens Boots Alliance offer bonus pay?

Pros

Consistently need staff once you are on staff.

Cons

No bonuses or cost of living increases. Evaluations are pathetic and useless tools to not pay you a bonus or cost of living increase you will never get anyway. Staff technicians are underpaid coworkers and frustrated.

Advice to Management

Pay your staff and staff your stores better.

I do collect a pay check

Cons

Not enough budget hours to properly run a store. Yet if you are salary they expect you to fill in the gaps with no overtime pay. Tons of unrealistic goals that have to be met. They gave employees a one time hazard pay of $150/$300 for Covid but gave the new CEO a $25 million sign on bonus??

What are pay raises like at Walgreens Boots Alliance?

Pros

There is growth for potential, work hard and you will get a raise every year and potentially promotions.

Cons

There's not a lot of incentive to get certified, it's only a +$1/hour raise, it should be either more.
