    Pros

Great benefits, accrued personal days, vacation time, and sick time. You get paid commission based on percentage of penetration and you can make great commission checks each month.

    Cons

No control over your product for sales, fleet managers routinely run a very tight fleet which constrains your ability to make you sales goals. Sales can be great depending on your customer base and location but if they don't want to buy your extras, you're screwed. The reservation call center is overseas and you clearly get the feeling that they are paid based on booking reservations, they miscommunicate the type of vehicle, the costs of additional services, rental policies, and at the end of the day the counter sales agent is left to deal with it all

    Advice to Management

Decide what direction, as a company, we are going towards. We can't be service based and get our sales as well. Inform the reservations call center of policies and correct verbiage to use do they are not guaranteeing a product we can't deliver.

    Pros

OK pay for call center. A lot of shift varieties. Hard to get fired.

    Cons

Terrible management. They lie a lot. Seniority and performance based schedules, if you aren't a to performer you will have a horrible shift. You are just a low level peon. As with all call centers really high turn over.

    Advice to Management

Care more about your employees and do not lie to them. Don't offer employees promotions have them accept then apologize saying you have it to somebody with more seniority.

    Pros

A diverse work environment, Great fellow employees

    Cons

Runs to tight on cars, too much focus on Sales,Sales,Sales not enough on quality customer service. Long work hours no work life balance, Schedules change on the fly with no prior notice. Cannot retain middle managers due to not enough training, and not fully disclosing work expectations such 50+ hours a week, frequent schedule changes with no notice.

    Advice to Management

Dont just preach it, DO IT! Company says it strives to be on the top 50 companies to work for. Then treat your managers with respect. If we are expected to honor advance notice of schedule changes for hourlies so they can adjust their home schedules then managers should be respected the same. You encourage management to reward great customer service and hand out rewards, Management works just as hard as, and in many cases harder than those employees yet no recognition from upper managers. Upper management has a DO as I Say not as I do, policy.
