Interview
Got an email back about a week after I applied, had a short information session/casual interview over Zoom, then an in-person interview and lab tour with my researcher. Straightforward, communicated from the beginning that it was a position with limited hours that continued over the school year.

I applied on 3M's careers site, and got an email response within about 2 weeks of applying. Met with my interviewer (now current supervisor) and started out with basic personality interview/"get to know you" questions. Eventually moved on to more "formal" interview questions and also discussed school work and major.

I had an initial phone interview with the hiring manager about lab experience and status in school. The on-site interview was a tour of the lab and a few simple questions.

Interview
I applied online and received an email about a week later asking for a video call interview. I interviewed with 4 of the engineers in the lab and spoke with them for about 25 minutes. I was offered the position a few days later.
