I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at ASDA (Elgin, Scotland)
Interview
The interview process (for such a basic roll) is long. It's over 2 days then over a further 2 days I'd you 'pass' the first stage and then a further interview with line manager. You are paid for it though. Too much information crammed in, expected to do a test about it and everyone failed. Then they just give you answers lol. Rather pointless.
I applied online. I interviewed at ASDA in Jul 2019
Interview
*Magic Day* Try to get involved as much as possible, don’t shy away from activities and any discussions. They’re looking for someone competent with a bit of confidence so as long as you get stuck in you should be absolutely fine After the magic day i got invited for an interview which was fairly straightforward, a lot of customer service questions you can find online
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I can’t remember exactly but it was a lot of “how would you deal with this situation” and “talk me through a time where you went above and beyond for someone” Get a few STAR responses prepared in advance and you won’t go far wrong
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ASDA (Sheffield, England) in Mar 2014
Interview
The interview process consisted of two parts- a group interview and a 1-1 interview. The group interview was a group activity which was designed to analyse your interactions with a group. I was praised for my ability to include others in the activity, as well as my own personal input.
