I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Addepar (Mountain View, CA)
Interview
Process was similar to other companies, an initial telephone screening, technical interview over the phone and a 5-hr in person interview . The initial phone interviews went very well where the interviewers were very candid. When it came to the in person, I was not very impressed. Few of the interviewers seemed barely interested in making a conversation. One person that was scheduled to interview me was caught up with some 'technical issues' so had to come in later. The funny thing was right after I saw him sitting in the cafeteria playing cards! It was only afterwards when he came in to interview that I realized it was the same person who was apparently 'handling a situation'. On top of that he wasn't very friendly and seem a little too eager to point out mistakes in my thought process. Their overall hiring process seems very biased, it is very hard to say what exactly it is that they need from a candidate. However they were very accommodating in scheduling the interviews at my convenience.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Addepar (Edinburgh, Scotland) in May 2024
Interview
A lengthy process, consisting of two video calls to the US team, one of which was a data test.
to have a final call with the complete team in Scotland. The last call was a 4-hour interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Addepar (Pune) in Apr 2024
Interview
Interview process ws smooth. There were 4 rounds. Most of the rounds were general except the technical round. The interviewer was extremely polite and she even explained a few new technical concepts to me very patiently. Even though I did not make the cut, I will try again
I applied online. I interviewed at Addepar (Salt Lake City, UT) in Mar 2021
Interview
First interview with hiring manager + another manager within the team. Second interview was a 5 hour gauntlet with 6 sets of interviews with 2 people. These ranged from "culture" to technical skills to financial acumen. Final call was with the recruiter and was given next steps and hear from them regularly for updates.
