They posted the job on many different websites including the company website. Anyone who worked in the company had the opportunity to apply for the position. When I applied they selected me for an interview as well as several other current employees. They were very uninterested in me or the other employees and seemed to be only interviewing us out of obligation. They ended up hiring someone less qualified that was not a current employee because they could pay them less.
