I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Altria (Columbia, SC) in Nov 2011
Interview
First had a one on one interview with mostly behavioral questions. Then had a panel interview with two interviewers. Really important you research the company and make them believe you want to work for them. Be able to give examples of strong leadership skills. Third round was a day in the field. I believe I basically already had the job at this point and they had the day in the field to give me a feel of what the job would be like?
First session was a screen interview with behavioral questions and background questions> Moving to the 2nd interview is a panel interview. The panel interview involves STAR questions as well as a sales role scenario.

I applied through university. I interviewed at Altria (Chapel Hill, NC) in Mar 2017
Interview
Typical 3 round interview process.
-In person behavioral
-In person case study
-Group site visit.
Very general questions and the "case" is intuitive. Last round is basically when you already have the position. Study up on general interview questions and how to present a case.
Applied online. Phone interview for about 30-45 minutes, just basic getting to know you and asking about your resume and such. 2nd round is a sit down with 2 representatives presenting a business plan with role playing and asking you basic situational questions. 3rd round was an interaction in the daily lifestyle of an Intern.

Question 1
None that I felt were so difficult. Just typical "what would you do in this situation" or "how have you handled this" questions.
