I applied in-person. I interviewed at Amazon in Jun 2020
Interview
The interview process was very thorough. Everyone wanted to get a good idea of my past accomplishments and how they tied to the leadership principals. There were some repeat questions throughout the whole interview though. I think they could have done a better job coordinating who is going to ask what versus making someone repeat themselves.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you made a sacrificed short term gain for something that would create long term value for the business.
Tell me about a time you solved a big problem in your company.
Tell me about a time when you used feedback about your team to drive a change. How did you gather or receive feedback on your team's performance? What was the outcome?
Tell me about a time when you not only met a goal but considerably exceeded expectations. How were you able to do it? What challenges did you have to overcome?
Tell me about a time when your team’s goals were out of alignment with another team you relied on in order to meet your goal. How did you work with the other team?
Did a test task and was called by HR almost immediately for the next round. But salary range (full packet with stock and benefits) and return to office policy did nit much my expectations
very standard. the interviewers had a set of questions to ask about the LPs so we can anticipate beforehand. But I think I got ghosted in the end. One of the interviewers told me about the 2 & 5 rule but its been more than 2 weeks since my last interview and still no response from anyone so idk what happened.
Lengthy, messy schedule, interviews canceled last minute, interviewer late. Rude, disrespectful and dismissive approach toward candidate. Majority of people were from a different team so had no clue about the specifics of the position when asked in the final Q&A. If they treat you like this before joining, can’t imagine after. Application withdrawn.
