Single in-person interview at a hotel. Lots of other applicants there, but the interview was 1-on-1. Very easy and straight-forward, mostly just screening for work ethic and overall attitude. Hardest part was the drive to the hotel, which wasn’t close to where I lived.
- Describe a situation where you overcame a tough situation in a job.

They set up a zoom meeting and you have your interview there. It was very easy but also they made you feel comfortable. I was able to freely describe my past job experiences and of course they ask questions related to the job you are applying for. They also explain the severity of the job so you have a good idea of what to expect.

It was a brief interview over zoom, set up over email a couple days after I applied. Most of it was going over the different requirements and policies the company has.
- They asked why I was interested in the job.

The first interview was a Zoom interview with a recruiter. It was rushed. The questions were pretty standard. The recruiter explained briefly about the company and about the details of the role. As soon as salary came up, the conversation ended. I did not get a chance to ask the recruiter any questions before she moved on.
- Why do you want to work in this position.

It will be a zoom meeting. If you get the job they will send you all the paperwork over and you have to do a drug screening background check. You finally get all the paper work done and wait until the season starts.

Anonymous Employee
I applied online. I interviewed at American Cruise Lines
They hire on the spot, but they are also detailed about the position. I had a good experience overall. I was shocked at how fast the process went; I wouldn't mind having a bit of time to make such a decision since training isn't immediate
